The first gathering of participants in the international Erasmus+ project LEAD-IN from around Poland was held on March 14-15, 2025. The collective came together at the E. Wedel Chocolate Factory in Warsaw and involved itself in lectures, workshops, and discussions on the topic of inclusive education. These interactions sparked further conversations on psychological-educational support as well as branch-out initiatives.

Leadership Empowerment and Development for Inclusive Education (LEAD-IN) in Europe is a project aimed at educational leaders who want to shape a more accessible, supportive, and open school model, which reflects the future landscape of learning. Its goal is to equip school leaders with the tools and strategies needed to build environments that respond to the diverse needs of students and teachers.
To this end, the event participants had the opportunity to learn from experts and practice. In addition, they reflected on inclusivity from various perspectives: school vision and values; communication language and team cohesion; incorporating diverse groups in the operation of institutions.
How to make members of school life feel seen, understood, and cared for was the core question that led the debate and brought forth ideas on design change strategies for impact on daily functioning of schools.
The event became a safe space for sharing what educators are in need of and initiated a follow-up online discussion on documenting and organising psychological-educational support and running special needs units.
Inspired by the exchange of best practices and fascinated by the STEAM approach, two leaders went on to organise a workshop for teachers from Lithuania at a school in Krosnica, disseminating their knowledge and passion.
This LEAD-IN event was supported by the E.Wedel Chocolate Factory and B3 Consulting Poland, who also took part in the lectures and workshops.
